Overview: 2023 Audi e-tron GT
The world of automobiles has seen a surge of new terminology such as electrons, motors, battery packs, and kilowatts. However, the Audi e-tron GT EV can be best described in simple terms: it is a thrilling ride. This vehicle shares the same platform as the impressive Porsche Taycan, offering a smooth ride and exhilarating acceleration. The e-tron GT boasts of two motors, one on each axle, with a combined output ranging from 522 to 637 horsepower, making it a powerful ride. In terms of highway range, the RS e-tron GT model managed 240 miles during testing, which is average in comparison to the Tesla Model S. Nonetheless, the e-tron GT compensates for its average range with a 270-kW DC fast charger, making it one of the fastest-charging EVs on the market today. The standard interior features leather-free, recycled materials. However, due to its narrow cockpit and low roof, it can be challenging for rear-seat passengers to get in and out. While the e-tron GT is an exciting and visually stunning vehicle, EVs with more range, such as the Tesla Model S, provide a better argument for all-electric transportation.

A new charging port is now located on the passenger side of the vehicle, making it more convenient for passengers to charge their devices. Anti-theft wheel bolts, a toll module, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and 20-inch all-season tires are now standard on every e-tron GT. The e-tron GT Prestige comes with an optional 21-inch wheel package, replacing the gray finish wheels that were previously available. The e-tron GT Performance package now includes summer tires instead of the previously standard all-season tires on the 20-inch wheels. The Executive equipment package now combines the LED interior lighting plus package with heated rear seats. The RS e-tron GT comes with standard carbon matte inlays on the exterior and a new Ceramic Brake package with Anthracite brake calipers and 21-inch wheels.
Audi has also produced a limited edition e-tron GT called project_512/2. This special edition is wrapped in striped camo and has 637-hp, and only 75 will be produced. It will be sold exclusively in the United States for a hefty price of $181,990 starting in spring 2023.
If you're considering buying an e-tron GT, the mid-level e-tron GT Prestige offers the best value for its mix of features and price. The base model costs $106,395, while the Prestige costs $112,795, and the RS costs $145,395. Although the RS is the most powerful, it's significantly more expensive than the other models.
Power and Performance: 2023 Audi e-tron GT
Range, Charging and Battery: 2023 Audi e-tron GT
Each e-tron GT comes equipped with an 83.7-kWh lithium-ion battery that delivers a decent but not exceptional driving range. According to the EPA, the standard model can travel up to 238 miles on a single charge, while the RS version has a slightly lower range of 232 miles. To recharge the battery quickly, a 270-kW DC fast charger can bring the battery level from 5 to 80 percent in 23 minutes. In our tests, both the e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT exceeded their estimated ranges, achieving 240 miles each. However, the e-tron GT's driving range still falls short compared to its competitors like the Model S and the Lucid Air.
Interior: 2023 Audi e-tron GT
The e-tron GT boasts an interior that seamlessly blends style and functionality. Its modern dashboard features a plethora of digital displays, complemented by high-quality trims and finishes. Passengers in the front seat enjoy a low-slung, sporty driving position, while the rear outboard seats offer ample legroom. However, the backseat's headroom is slightly restricted, and the middle seat is less comfortable than the outboard seats. The vehicle provides plenty of space for luggage in the trunk area behind the back seats, as well as in the front trunk (or "frunk").

Although the e-tron GT doesn't have the same amount of touchscreens as other Audi models, like the A7 sedan and e-tron SUV, it still has an impressive infotainment system. The 10.1-inch central touchscreen is visually appealing and can be controlled through the steering wheel or voice recognition software. In addition to having access to popular content, the e-tron GT also has the option for a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless charging, and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
