Last mile e-mobility company Fyn Mobility has joined forces with Exponent Energy- Altigreen to launch a fleet of 1,500 IoT-enabled smart EVs that can be charged to full capacity in just 15 minutes. Fyn Mobility plans to use the EVs across two shifts to provide up to 18 hours of service, which will make the cost of operations more affordable and create new industry opportunities, according to the company’s CEO, Visakh Sasikumar.

Exponent Energy has already installed 20 e-pumps throughout Bengaluru, and is planning to add another 80 in the next six months to support the fleet. Fyn Mobility’s smart EV technology will help optimize operations and enable cross-utilization of vehicles to create a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach in the EV logistics industry.

Arun Vinayak, Co-founder and CEO of Exponent Energy, stated that Fyn Mobility’s technology stack will help to extract the most value from their e-pump network, saying, “Their treasure trove of insights helps optimize operations and push the limits on cross-utilization.”

Exponent Energy has partnered with FYN to use a single commercial electric vehicle (EV) for two shifts, covering nearly 18 hours of service. The companies believe that cross-utilization is a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach in the EV logistics industry. Exponent Energy’s rapid charging technology and e^pump network complement FYN’s platform to drive cross-utilization and redefine last-mile logistics. The partnership aims to deliver unparalleled value to end users by providing a seamless charging experience for FYN’s fleet, and the companies are opening up other vehicle segments with a focus on logistics.
