– Features a similar style to the Yamaha Neo’s
– Suspected peak speed of 80 kmph
– Launch is anticipated for this year.
The competition in this market is escalating quickly as electric two-wheelers are being adopted more frequently in India. While there are currently many competitors working hard to stand out, River EV, a potential newcomer, may enter the fray soon. A forthcoming electric scooter from this Bangalore-based business was recently spotted being tested.
The design of the scooter can be easily seen despite the fact that the spotted test mule was completely camouflaged. The Yamaha Neo electric scooter’s front fascia is eerily similar to this one. The bulbous front apron, which is topped by an open digital dashboard, houses a pair of square-shaped LED headlamps. The rear part also presents a hefty appearance due to its huge panels, broad grab rail, and rectangular tail lamp. The stepped seat and footboard also appear to be rather roomy.

The e-scooter appears to have high-end hardware, including huge alloy wheels (perhaps 14-inch models), telescopic forks up front, and a disc brake. One intriguing feature is the clip-on handlebar, which is unusual for scooters. The River EV scooter is anticipated to have a range of 180 kilometres and a top speed of 80 kilometres per hour, while the battery and engine parameters are still unknown. As we approach closer to the actual launch, which may occur in the second half of 2023, more information will become available.
