The LVNENG S6 Retro-Style Electric Scooter is a cute eScooter and its retro styling comes in a chic and techie package.

If you live in Asia or Europe and hear the word “electric scooter,” the first thing that probably springs to mind is a cheap, low-cost electric runabout devoid of any stylistic spirit and character. While this might have been true 10 years ago, electric scooters have considerably improved since then. In fact, several of them pitch themselves as lifestyle items with enticing appearance, premium features, and outstanding performance.

LVNENG, pronounced “Lu-Neng,” is a brand you may not be familiar with. Unlike some other Chinese manufacturers, LVNENG invests in robust R&D and collaborates with industry-leading firms. As a result, it’s not surprising that the corporation is growing its presence outside of China, particularly in other countries of Asia and Europe. In France, the company offers six models, the most recent of which is a retro-style scooter with some rather interesting features.

The S6 is the EQ125 model from LVNENG. an electric scooter with a top speed of 75 km/h and greater speed, acceleration, and autonomy thanks to its two LG cell batteries mounted in series for a total capacity of 63Ah. S6 is available to all B licence and 125 training holders, as well as all motorcycle licence holders.

To begin with, its appearance is undeniably similar to that of another prominent scooter manufacturer, Vespa, although there are several notable differences.

Having said that, it’s evident that the LVNENG S6 intends to take some of Vespa’s market share, particularly among those who find the Elettrica’s price tag a little too high. The S6, on the other hand, is still a premium scooter and isn’t cheap, but for 5,649 Euros, or $6,383 USD, it undercuts the price of the electric Vespa by a significant margin. What’s more, people in France can receive bonuses and refunds, substantially cutting the cost of ownership.

The LVNENG S6’s traditional design is matched by a bevvy of current features that are sure to appeal to the market. It boasts full-LED lighting, a clear digital instrument pod, a USB charging port, and even an immobiliser and keyless entry. The subtler details, like as the whitewall tyres and brown top-stitched faux-leather saddle, provide a touch of sophistication.

The LVNENG S6 packs a powerful punch beneath the bodywork. An electric motor is positioned on the back wheel. It has the most powerful motor in the range, a BOSCH 4000 W motor. When combined with the newest generation FOC vector controller, the S6 can readily climb slopes of more than 30%, either alone or in pairs, and accelerate linearly from 0 to 75 km/h. S6 is the ideal scooter for going out of town and embarking on exciting rides, combining pleasure and power, elegance and comfort. The S6, which is sourced from Bosch, one of the world’s leading businesses in the realm of heavy-duty electronics, has a peak power of 4 kW, which means it can tackle pretty much any terrain. LVNENG says that the S6 can confidently climb hills with up to a 30% gradient while carrying a passenger. It has a top speed of 47 mph, making it excellent for city travel. A pair of two LG battery packs powers the electric motor, giving a total range of up to 120 kilometres.

The LVNENG S6 must, however, compete with several well-established and less expensive versions on the market. It remains to be seen how the S6 will be received in various areas following its release.
